About Happy Dotting Company
Happy Dotting Company was founded in 2017 by Anjela, a dot mandala art enthusiast. Dot mandala painting is meditative and creative, not to mention beautiful.
No wonder Anjela fell in love with dot art! Her first attempts were horrible and frustrating. She then worked hard to establish the best technique and developed a set of purpose designed dotting tools. What a difference! Happy Dotting Company continued to develop high quality purpose-designed supplies including art stone molds and the symmetry dome template system.
Enjoyed all over the world
Like the best inventions are born out of necessity so did the art stone molds and dome templates. Anjela realised that ideal shaped natural stones were nearly impossible to acquire or even if accessible ideally shouldn’t be taken from nature.
So came about the perfectly shaped art stone molds with their center dot built in, making them ideal for mandala dotting. Now perfect stones are accessible for all!
About the founder - Anjela
Anjela lives in Brisbane, Australia with her husband Mark. She raised three daughters and has two stepsons, and remains very close to her parents, who live nearby.
Anjela is an Anaesthetic Nurse by trade and still works casually in the role. Outside of dot mandala art, she enjoys keeping fit through walking, cycling, and pickleball. Over the years she has enjoyed hobbies such as patchwork quilting, mosaics, and stained glass art. A lifelong “hobby collector,” Anjela is always excited to learn and create something new.
A naturally creative thinker, Anjela has worked hard to grow Happy Dotting Company, while recognising the important role that support, encouragement, and a little luck have played along the way. Over the past year, she has also endured breast cancer treatment — a chapter she is grateful to now place firmly in her history as she looks ahead to the future with renewed appreciation and optimism.
Anjela remains deeply grateful to her family and the dot mandala community for allowing her to turn her passion into something she can share with others.
